Étienne Calsac

A talented winegrower from the Côte des Blancs, Etienne Calsac is a young Champagne vigneron. His clear ideas, dedication to work in the vineyard and enormous respect for the ecosystem make him an example of modern, sustainable viticulture. Etienne Calsac's vineyards extend over 3 hectares in Avize, on the Côte des Blancs, an area renowned for the production of top-quality Chardonnay. The limestone soil and cool climate give the grapes a vibrant minerality and unique aromatic complexity. Etienne Calsac practices sustainable viticulture based on the valorisation of the different plots that make up his vineyard. For this reason, he almost exclusively vinifies the grapes of each parcel in purity, obtaining wines that express the unique characteristics of each terroir. In addition to Chardonnay, Etienne Calsac also cultivates some old varieties of grapes such as Petit Meslier, which are used to create special cuvées.
