Cave Mont Blanc

There are few places as fascinating as the vineyards of the Aosta Valley. Here the definition of ‘heroic viticulture’ takes on a whole other meaning. Cave Mont Blanc is one of the best known and most appreciated in the area. It is a magical place, dominated by the great Mont Blanc, the warm colour of slate and the pergolas of Priè Blanc, still cultivated on a free-range basis, resting on the stones that climb up the mountain to over 1,200 metres. After all, the Cave Mont Blanc guards the secret of the highest vineyards in Europe. It does so thanks to the commitment of around 80 members who produce no more than 140,000 bottles each year.
