Clusium is the Latin name of the city of Chiusi, to which this wine is dedicated. Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, Clusium is a perfect example for its appellation. In the glass it has a beautiful deep ruby red colour. The nose offers an intense and fruity bouquet. Well-ripened dark berry fruit notes, such as cherry and blackberry, can be recognized. If you give it the right amount of time to oxygenate, you will begin to perceive the more rustic notes of Sangiovese, starting with a slight underbrush, musk and damp earth. The best of itself, however, is revealed in the mouthfeel where it proves to be a powerful but well-balanced wine. A rich fruity component, with just the right amount of tannins and a pleasant softness given by the well-integrated alcohol. The particularly long finish prolongs the pleasure of drinking for several seconds.
