Suavia's is a beautiful story of family and territory. Much more than a simple winery, Suavia is a journey through the volcanic hills of Soave, an area rich in history and character. Here, among the remains of the ancient castle and the picturesque hills that embrace the village of Fittà, the Tessari family has linked its life with that of the land since 1800. It is no coincidence that Suavia is the ancient toponym of the village of Soave. In 1982, Giovanni Tessari and Rosetta Buratto, aware of the extraordinary potential of their land, decided to found Suavia to dedicate themselves to the production of their own wine, thus giving life to a family project that continues today thanks to their three daughters: Meri, Valentina and Alessandra. The Tessari sisters carry on the legacy left by their parents with passion, cultivating the 30 hectares of vineyards located in the heart of the Classic area of the Soave denomination. Two indigenous grape varieties are grown exclusively in the company vineyards: Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. The oldest vines, planted by their grandparents, are over seventy years old and are a precious testimony to a winemaking tradition that deserves to be handed down.
