Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery

The name, Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery, reveals distant Italian origins. In fact, the founder of this beautiful Californian winery is Samuele Sebastiani, who emigrated to the USA from Tuscany over a century ago. For over 100 years, Sebastiani has been producing fine wines in Sonoma County, one of the most incredible wine regions in the world. As in most of California, the climate here is influenced by distance and exposure to the cold currents of the Pacific Ocean. So the areas that are close to the water are cool, while the inland areas are warmer. This particular microclimate allows Sebastiani to focus its production on French grape varieties, enhanced with a modern processing technique. In addition, the winery produces outstanding "single vineyard" wines, i.e. wines made from grapes from a single vineyard, which are representative of their terroir.
