I Tirreni

The I Tirreni winery, the name given by the Greeks to the Etruscans, inhabitants of the coast, is located in Donoratico. This is where all the processing and storage of Bolgheri DOC and the other labels on offer takes place. The vinification vats, in steel, are of various sizes. This choice ensures that the winemaker can keep grapes with different characteristics separate, so that they can be vinified with the right specific care. The estate can now count on about 9 hectares of vineyards, half of which are given over to red grape varieties, mainly used to produce Bolgheri DOC. The other half of the estate is destined for the other wines, whites and reds, proposed as IGT Toscana.
