Henry of Pelham Family Estate. Six generations of the Henry family have been running this beautiful estate since the end of the 18th century. The turning point came in 1984, when the parents of the current owners decided to completely renovate their vineyard, uprooting the old varieties grown by their ancestors in order to focus on old world vines suitable for the production of quality wines. At the time, Canada was still far from being a well-known wine-producing country. But Henry of Pelham's gamble was definitely a winner. The soil and climate of their vineyards proved to be perfectly suited to the purpose, and production soon took off.
