Château Saintayme is a small estate once run by one of the most influential men in Bordeaux, Denis Durantou, now prematurely deceased. We are located in the AOC Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, in the commune of Saint-Etienne-de-Lisse. The winery has a beautiful, undivided vineyard planted only to Merlot. Thanks to particularly careful cultivation practices, this vineyard, which has an average age of 35 years, has very low yields in terms of quantity but very high in terms of quality.
