We are located in the heart of the Bordeaux region, within the Pomerol area, on the right bank of the river. Château Rouget boasts very ancient origins, although it is only mentioned in the cadastral archives from 1700 onwards. Even earlier, however, the quality of its terroir had been recognised, as far back as the end of the Roman Empire. It is therefore, in fact, one of the oldest estates in the denomination. It became part of the Labruyère properties in 1992. Today, Château Rouget has more than 17 hectares of vineyards, with plants of an average age of around 40 years.
