Château Quintus is a beautiful property born from the union of two estates, Château Tertre Daugay and Château L'Arrosée, acquired by Domaine Clarence Dillon in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Château Quintus is thus the fifth property of the Domaine, along with Châteaux Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut-Brion. Hence the name "Quintus", traditionally given to the fifth sons in the Gallo-Roman tradition. Château Quintus has a vineyard of 42 hectares, unique in its mosaic of terroirs. The vines have an average age of 30 years and are planted on a beautiful plateau that guarantees perfect exposure and ideal ripening.
