We are on the left bank of the Garonne, in the heart of the Bordeaux region. French yes, but of Irish origin, as part of the name of this château reveals. We are talking about Château Lynch-Moussas, a fine Bordeaux establishment dating back as far as the 18th century. Sixty-two hectares in total, about 75% of the vineyard is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon. With him, of course, the ever-present Merlot. At the beginning of the 20th century, the property passed to the Castéja family, who already owned several plots in Pauillac. Since 1970, the property has been managed directly by Emile Castéja, who was succeeded in 2001 by his son Philippe.
