Château Lagrange is one of the references in terms of quality in the Saint-Julien area. We are of course in the Bordeaux region, and more precisely in the Médoc. The estate has very ancient origins and in the 18th century was awarded the title of 3ème Cru Classé in the Official Classification of 1855. A high point for the company came in 1983 when Château Lagrange became part of the Japanese Suntory group. This initiated a major renovation programme that enabled the winery to raise its standards even further, reaching the top of the Saint-Julien appellation. Château Lagrange has a vineyard of approximately 118 hectares, with vines that are on average 45 years old.
