Château Coutet became a wine estate in 1643. We are in the Bordeaux region, in Barsac, where some of the best sweet wines in the world are produced, with the appellations of Barsac and Sauternes. Château Coutet has around forty hectares under vine and is one of the largest estates in the area. In the vineyard, plants with an average age of 35 years, in particular Sémillon. Then Sauvignon and Muscadelle. In the cellar, vinification takes place in French oak barrels, where the wine then matures for months before bottling. Today, the maison is owned by the Baly family, which manages it with the valuable technical and commercial collaboration of Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A.
