Albinea Canali

Albinea Canali is a beautiful winery in Emilia. Its story begins in 1934, when Lorenzo Motti and Riziero Camellini had the idea of creating a community of producers that would enhance the peculiarities of the territory south of Reggio Emilia. Starting with an initial group of seven winegrowers, this initiative quickly expanded, leading to the official founding of the cooperative winery in 1936. The winery is located a few kilometres from Reggio Emilia, in a flat area bordered by the Crostolo and Tresinaro rivers and the foothills of the Apennines. This triangle of land is particularly suitable for viticulture, thanks to the gravelly, well-drained soil and the temperate climate with excellent sun exposure. Here Lambrusco finds ideal conditions to express all its freshness and vivacity. Since the 1930s, Albinea Canali has distinguished itself for its modern and innovative approach. The winery, designed according to the latest criteria for the time, is a perfect example of the fusion of aesthetics and functionality. Even today, thanks to constant technological updating, the company is committed to preserving the quality of the selected grapes through careful processing techniques that respect the raw material.
