Allegrini founded its roots in Fumane, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. It was with Giovanni, the symbolic man of this land, that a decisive qualitative turning point took place in the mid-twentieth century: he exalted the viticultural and oenological potential of his land. It is his intuitions and entrepreneurial attitude, consolidated by his sons and carried on today by his grandchildren, that have established Allegrini in the Olympus of Italian producers. The company's hallmark is its great commitment to the acquisition of a wine-growing estate that today stretches over approximately 150 hectares of land in the hills of Valpolicella Classica, later expanding into Soave and Lugana: three prestigious areas of Italian viticulture. Vineyards that outline the landscape and bear witness to the company's care not only for the vines, but also for the animals and insects that populate the countryside. Allegrini's commitment to the protection of biodiversity is evidenced by the Biodiversity Friend Beekeeping certifications, which will be joined from 2019 by the Sustainable Winery Equalitas, which rewards commitment to social issues, the wellbeing of employees and the local economy.
