Travaglini

The Travaglini winery, located in the heart of Gattinara, represents one of the most significant realities of Upper Piedmont. Its history begins in the 1920s, when Clemente Travaglini, recognising the unique potential of this land, decided to start a small winery. His pioneering spirit and his passion for wine laid the foundations of a company that, generation after generation, has continued to grow and innovate, without ever losing its deep connection with the territory. In the 1950s, with the arrival of Giancarlo Travaglini, the company took a decisive step towards modernisation, thanks to new methods of cultivation and vinification. And it was he who, in 1958, designed and patented the famous ‘crooked bottle’, the distinctive symbol of Travaglini and of Gattinara in the world. Today the company is run by the fourth and fifth generation of the family, with Cinzia Travaglini and her husband Massimo Collauto, joined by their daughters Alessia and Carolina.
