The story of this small winery is linked to that of two brothers, born in Milan to a Piacenza-born mother from Vigolzone and a Milanese father. The passion for wine began to burn in Stefano at the age of seventeen and the purchase of a house to spend the holidays in the hills around Piacenza was the excuse to make that passion the reason for his existence. Supporting him is Ferruccio with whom, after a few years, the decision is made to purchase two plots of land bordering the house, one of which contains an old farmstead called - precisely - La Tosa. This was followed by the planting of the first vineyards and the start of a new activity, which became more and more involved. The quantum leap came in 1984 when, almost overnight, Stefano and Ferruccio decided to turn their hobby for the countryside into a full-fledged profession, dedicating themselves full-time to the work of winegrowers. It was in 1985 that they finally produced their first wine: a thousand bottles of Gutturnio in all. Since then, a lot has happened. Today, the company can count on a vineyard of around 19 hectares and a production that, of that first 'frizzantino', is only a distant memory!
