The presence of the Moingeon family in Burgundy has been mentioned since the 15th century. And who knows whether Jean Moingeon, born in 1415 and a ploughman by profession, could ever have imagined that among his 1,500 descendants, two brothers would give birth in the 19th century to one of the most prestigious houses in Burgundy, La Maison du Crémant.
