Château d'Issan

Château d'Issan is a winery in the prized Margaux region of Bordeaux. History and tradition, since it has been giving the world wines of elegance and refinement since the 12th century. It is no coincidence that its motto is 'For the table of kings and the altar of the gods' and among its illustrious past clients are the sovereigns of England and France, as well as the powerful emperors of Austria. The vineyards extend over gravelly, rock-rich soils composed of glacial detritus and marine sediments, which give the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, the typical varieties of the area, an unmistakable mineral character.
