Fifth Cru Classé of Margaux in 1855, Château Dauzac is one of the wineries that has been able to constantly improve over the decades, reaching today levels of absolute excellence. All this thanks to tireless work both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Today, the Château is therefore considered a true icon of the Margaux appellation. We are located on the left bank of the Bordeaux appellation. Here the Château has a vineyard of some 42 hectares, with deep, gravelly soils. Here the vines, especially those of Cabernet Sauvignon, find a perfect substrate to thrive. The plants have an average age of between thirty-five and forty years and the vineyards are planted at a density of up to 10,000 vines per hectare. The vineyard is managed according to organic farming criteria.
