Le Forconate

The ‘Le Forconate’ winery is located in a picturesque and special area, in the heart of Tuscany, the cradle of Chianti, near the golden hills of the Val d'Orcia, a World Heritage Site (UNESCO). It was founded in 2008 when the Blackbeard family decided to cultivate their passion and love for winemaking, wishing to create something special and closely connected to the local territory and traditions, working together with the new generation to embrace a common vision. The initial extension of the vineyards, 7.5 hectares, has since embraced a total of 28.50, including among the original varieties (Sangiovese and Merlot) other vines such as Sagrantino, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Vermentino.
