Champagne Waris-Larmandier "Particules Crayeuses" Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut

Champagne Grand Cru, Particules Crayeuses, Extra Brut, proposed here by Maison Waris-Larmandier is a wine of great intensity and purity that represents the essence of the Côte des Blancs. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from vineyards classified as Grand Cru located in the communes of Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger. The Côte des Blancs, this should be remembered, is a region renowned for its chalky soils, which give the wines a distinctive minerality. The Chardonnay grapes that make up this Champagne also benefit from a cool and temperate climate, ideal for their slow and uniform ripening. Its dosage, less than 6 grams per litre, classifies it as Extra Brut, characterised by a pleasant dryness and lively acidity. In the Champagne Grand Cru Particules Crayeuses Extra Brut glass, it has a brilliant straw yellow colour. On the nose, it reveals a complex and fascinating bouquet, dominated by notes of citrus fruits, white fruits, wild flowers and chalk. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with a fine, persistent bubble. The minerality of the terroir is felt on the finish and leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness and sapidity.
